Looking for that “get your foot in the door” position or interested in business/sales/recruiting but don’t know where to start? This could be the role for you.  We need people who want to learn the industry, and within 6 months, convert to a full desk recruiter—we only want people who are competitive, money motivated, and who want to succeed!
 
Modis is currently hiring a Talent Sourcer for an internal position.  The Talent Sourcer is tasked with supporting the branches recruiting efforts by identifying qualified IT candidates, building a pipeline of these candidates by skill set and updating database to ensure all of the required information is obtained and updated.  This role is used to develop “best practice” recruiting behaviors and is a stepping stone into the full recruiter role.
 
After 5-6 months, management performance will be evaluated and we will determine whether they will move into a fully commissionable recruiter role or not.  We need people who are hungry and who want to succeed in sales/recruiting.

Entry Level Recruiter / Sourcer
 
Responsibilities:


  • #1 responsibility will be to call prospective candidates and work one on one with recruiters in developing candidate pipeline.  Need people who are comfortable on the phone.
  • Expecting 250 calls per week (50 per day) minimum.  
  • Build a pipeline of candidates for skill sets that are needed repeatedly in the branch
  • Identify potential candidates that can be proactively marketed to strategic accounts
  • Obtain and document sales leads from candidates who are contacted (a qualified lead is defined as a person who hires or manages IT personnel)
  • Eventually begin ‘Pre Screen Recruiting’ and ‘Full Cycle Recruiting’ once their training and development reaches appropriate levels.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other related duties as required.


 
Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ideally targeting candidates with 0-1 years of experience
  • Candidates must have a strong desire to (a) succeed in business/sales/recruiting and (b) convert to a recruiter and make high commission
  • Must be money/success motivated
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and in writing
  • Computer literacy to include PC based applications and strong web navigation skills
  • Team player attitude and willingness to take direction
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work within a large corporate environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships externally with candidates and clients as well as internally with consultants and colleagues.
